The general secretary from the Holy Shrine announces that the number of registered visitors according to a electronic counting system from the period of midday 7th Safar to midday 20th the number of pilgrims counted was 16,327,542 sixteen million three hundred twenty-seven thousand five hundred and forty-two visitors.
This count was taken from 5 main entrances.
This is a huge success for the Holy City of Karbala and the lovers of the Ahl-ul-Bait (A.S).
Another record breaker for the worlds largest annual gathering.
